All five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the largest increase in share price, with shares rising 9.5 percent last week.
King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services saw its share price rise 1.1 percent last week, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.

- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $17.12 per share (up 9.5 percent)
- Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $73.00 per share (up 2.9 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $65.67 per share (up 3.2 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $27.79 per share (up 8.2 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $115.54 per share (up 1.1 percent)
