Emdeon Q1 revenue up 9%, McKesson reports $179B in fiscal year revenue & more – 6 recent RCM company key notes

Here are six recent news updates on key healthcare revenue cycle management companies.

Earlier this year, Adreima acqacquired uired HealthCPA, a patient advocacy and consumer engagement services provider. HealthCPA helps patients navigate the medical billing system, while aiming to improve provider's cash collection and patient satisfaction. 

King's Daughters Medical Center, based in Ashland, Ky., selected Cardon Outreach to provide revenue cycle management services for self-pay patients.

Emdeon reported its first quarter financial results. The company reported solutions revenue of $258.4 million, up 9.4%. 

Leidos reported $1.2 billion in first quarter revenues, down 5 percent compared to $1.3 million in the prior year period.

Thirteen firms gave MedAssets stock an average price target of $20.769, according to a report by The Markets Daily. 

McKesson reported $179 billion in fiscal year revenue, up 30 percent from the $137.4 billion of the previous year.
