Here are eight companies that debuted revenue cycle management products for healthcare vendors and providers in January.
1. Elsevier, a provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, will offer Healthcare Financial Management Association courses aimed at revenue cycle and financial improvement.
2. Surgical Notes, a national provider of revenue cycle solutions for ASCs and surgical hospitals, launched SNBilling, its revenue cycle management service.
3. HCPro, a provider of information, educational and advisory products for healthcare regulation and compliance, launched Revenue Cycle Advisor.
4. The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act's Merit-Based Incentive Payment System began Jan. 1. To assist providers, Able Health, a health IT company, launched a MIPS platform for reporting and performance improvement.
5. Recondo Technology, a revenue cycle management solutions company, launched its new automated solution, AuthInitiate.
6. Accretive Health, a provider of revenue cycle management and physician advisory services to healthcare providers, changed its name to R1 RCM and launched the R1 Performance Stack offering.
7. New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health and private equity firm Pamplona Capital Management created a new business, Formativ Health, which will offer comprehensive management services to assist physician practices.
8. Promedical, a national healthcare revenue cycle management company, launched a redesigned version of its website.
