1. The American Medical Association and Elsevier, a Netherlands-based global information analytics company, will co-develop online course material for the AMA's Current Procedural Terminology medical reporting codes.
2. Gettysburg (Pa.) Diagnostic Imaging, a hospital-based radiology practice, chose Media, Pa.-based Healthcare Administrative Partners, a provider of revenue cycle management solutions, to provide RCM and practice management services.
3. Exeter, N.H.-based CBS Medical Billing & Consulting, a practice management, medical billing and compliance services provider, is expanding.
4. Chicago-based Allscripts, a provider of health IT solutions, entered a definitive agreement to acquire McKesson Corp.'s Enterprise Information Solutions.
5. Tampa, Fla.-based InSync Healthcare Solutions, a provider of cloud-based healthcare technology software, revenue cycle management services and medical transcription service solutions, partnered with a 23-health system alliance in North Carolina and South Carolina.
6. Central Maine Healthcare will deploy R1 RCM's Revenue Capture Solutions module.
