Five hospitals and health systems received a credit downgrade during the past month, according to a report from HFA Partners.
The hospitals and health systems receiving credit downgrades included the following:
- Indiana Regional Medical Center (Borough, Pa.) — from Baa3 to Ba1 (Moody's)
- Mission (Texas) Hospital — from Ba2 to Caa1 (Moody's)
- North Broward Hospital District (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) — from A2 to Baa2 (Moody's)
- South Shore Hospital (South Weymouth, Mass.) — from A3 to Baa1 (Moody's)
- Westchester County Health Care Corp. (Valhalla, N.Y.) — from Baa1 to Baa2 (Moody's)
