5 hospital CFOs in the headlines

Here are five hospital and health system CFOs who have been in the news since July 31.

1. Nicholas J. Lanza was in the news as he was named CFO of East Orange (N.J.) General Hospital.

2. Michael P. Browning was in the news as he was appointed CFO of Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed Health and Hospitals.

3. Kathy Lancaster, executive vice president and CFO of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, was in the news discussing Kaiser's financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2015.

4. Caleb Johnson was in the news as he was named CFO of Plumas District Hospital in Quincy, Calif.

5. Lennis Thompson was in the news as he was named vice president and CFO of Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky.
