3 things to know about the Association of Professional Coders' new chapter

The American Association of Professional Coders has a new Garden City (N.Y.) Chapter, reports The Garden City News.

Here are three things to know.

1. The chapter's founder is Marianne Amster, director of billing and collections at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, the report states.

2. Founding officers of the Garden City Chapter include representatives from Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health and NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, N.Y.

3. The chapter's first meeting is scheduled for later this month.
