The following hospital and health system rating and outlook changes and affirmations took place during the past week, starting with the most recent.

1. Moody's revises UMass Memorial Health Care's outlook to positive
Moody's Investors Service affirmed Worcester, Mass.-based UMass Memorial Health Care's "Ba1" rating and revised the system's outlook to positive from negative.

2. Moody's rates Tenet's proposed senior secured notes; outlook negative
Moody's Investors Services assigned a "Ba2" rating to Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare's offering of $500 million of floating rate senior secured notes due 2020 and a "B3" rating to its proposed $1.9 billion of senior unsecured notes due 2023.

3. Moody's downgrades East Liverpool City Hospital's bond rating
Moody's Investors Service downgraded the rating assigned to $7 million of outstanding bonds issued on behalf of East Liverpool (Ohio) City Hospital to "Caa1" from "B2."

4. Moody's revises Valley Health System's outlook: 4 things to know
Moody's Investors Service assigned an "A1" bond rating to Winchester, Va.-based Valley Health System's proposed $117.8 million of series 2015 fixed rate hospital revenue and refunding bonds and revised the system's outlook to stable from negative.

5. Moody's affirms Palomar Health's bond rating: 3 things to know
Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "Ba1" rating assigned to Escondido, Calif.-based Palomar Health's revenue bonds.

Fitch Ratings affirmed the "BBB" rating assigned to $46.7 million of series 2006 revenue bonds issued on behalf of Pella (Iowa) Regional Health Center.

Moody's Investors Service affirmed the "Baa2" rating assigned to Carroll, Iowa-based St. Anthony Regional Hospital's bonds and revised the hospital's outlook to stable from negative.

10. Moody's upgrades Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare's bond rating
Moody's Investors Service upgraded Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare's bond rating to "A1" and "A1/VMIG1" from "A2" and "A2/VMIG1" on $564.8 million of outstanding debt.
