Louisville, Ky.-based Norton Healthcare will invest $78.3 million into several expansion projects at Norton Children's Hospital, according to WDRB.
The money will be used to build the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and renovate the pediatric critical care center and two neonatal intensive care units at the Louisville, Ky.-based hospital, according to the report.
The Children's Hospital Foundation has committed to raise $20 million of the total cost of the expansion. So far it has raised $10 million toward that goal, according to the report.
The expansion will occur in phases, with final completion expected in 2021.
