1. Erlanger East Hospital completes $50M expansion
Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger East Hospital concluded its $50 million expansion into a full-service lifestyle hospital, Chattanoogan.com reports.
2. Lowell General Hospital's ICU expansion nears completion
Lowell (Mass.) General Hospital is undergoing a $10 million expansion of its intensive care unit, according to the Lowell Sun.
3. Essentia Health plans $20M expansion project
Essentia Health will undergo a $20 million expansion project at its campus in Fargo, N.D., according to Inforum.
4. CHI postpones $100M Colorado Springs expansion
Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives belated commencing its $100 million expansion of Colorado Springs-based St. Francis Medical Center until May or June 2017, reports The Gazette.
5. MetroHealth to borrow $1.25B for campus transformation
Cleveland-based MetroHealth System plans to borrow $1.25 billion to build a new hospital on its main campus, Cleveland.com reported.
6. New medical building opens in Alabama
A ribbon cutting was held earlier this month to mark the completion of the Foley (Ala.) Medical Arts building.
7. Nebraska Medicine, Girls Inc. partner on health clinic
Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine is partnering with Girls Inc. to open a health clinic near the organization's headquarters in Omaha, Neb., according to Omaha World-Herald.
