1. UCHealth Broomfield Hospital opens
Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth opened a new hospital in Broomfield, Colo., boasting 18 private inpatient rooms and a four-bed intensive care unit.
2. St. Anthony Regional Hospital to revamp clinic with $1.8M investment
Carroll, Iowa-based St. Anthony Regional Hospital has $1.8 million worth of renovations planned for its Denison (Iowa) Clinic, formerly known as the Crawford County Clinic.
3. WellStar Paulding Hospital completes expansion efforts, doubles bed count
WellStar Paulding Hospital completed a two-story renovation of its Hiram, Ga.-based facility, doubling its bed count from 56 to 112, reported Dallas Patch.
4. Vanderbilt children's hospital begins work on 4-story expansion
Expansion efforts are underway at Nashville, Tenn.-based Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, according to the Herald Chronicle.
5. Mercy Health breaks ground on $271M Michigan hospital
Mercy Health Muskegon (Mich.) began construction on its $271 million, nine-story hospital Tuesday, WOOD TV 8 reports.
6. Vassar Brothers Medical Center breaks ground on $500M pavilion
Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based Vassar Brothers Medical Center broke ground Sept. 13 on a new $500 million patient pavilion, reports Poughkeepsie Journal.
7. Jacksonville Mayo Clinic sets schedule for $100M expansion
Officials at the Jacksonville-based Mayo Clinic Hospital said construction will begin on the first building of a three-building, $100 million expansion project in October, according to the Jacksonville Business Journal.
8. OSF to open new Pekin, Ill.-based facility
Peoria, Ill.-based OSF HealthCare plans to open an 18,000-square-foot facility in Pekin, Ill., early next year, according to a report from the Journal Star.
9. Via Christi, Mercy break ground on primary care clinic
Wichita, Kan.-based Via Christi Health and St. Louis-based Mercy Health Systems broke ground on their joint venture Monday to build a primary care clinic in Pittsburg, Kan., according to a report from The Morning Sun.
10. Green Medical Arts Center to undergo $4.2M renovation
Catskill, N.Y.-based Greene Medical Arts Center, part of Hudson, N.Y.-based Columbia Memorial Health, will receive a $4.2 million renovation, according to The Daily Mail.
11. Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital starts $22M expansion
The Children's Center Rehabilitation Hospital recently began a $22 million expansion project at the hospital's main campus in Bethany, Okla.
12. Holy Cross Hospital in Florida gets $7M boost for neurological care
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Hospital received $7 million to extend its neurological treatments, the Sun Sentinel reports.
