When a company performs well, chances are its top leadership will see a raise in salary, some of which are higher than others. But this CEO's pay increase might take the cake, according to Fortune.
Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Bellevue, Wash.-based Expedia, received $94.6 million in 2015, equating to a salary raise of 881 percent, according to data from Equilar and The Associated Press. Expedia's annual filing shows his 2015 pay included $1 million in salary, a $2.8 million bonus and $90.8 million in stock options.
Although he may have had the greatest salary increase, Mr. Khosrowshahi wasn't the highest-earning CEO last year. That spot was claimed by Patrick Soon-Shiong, MD, CEO of Los Angeles-based NantKwest.
