Earlier this summer, the Washington State Department of Health began posting compensation data of the highest-compensated nonprofit hospital employees. Hospital executives at for-profit hospitals are not included, under state law.
The Department of Health posted hospital executive compensation reports for the 2012 fiscal year, which varies from hospital to hospital. Here are the 10 highest-paid hospital and health system CFOs in Washington, according to the Department of Health's latest figures. Note: Compensation figures include base salary, bonuses, incentives, deferred compensation and other reportable compensation.
