Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon and Adventist Health-Portland, a part of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health, have announced a new collaborative care initiative.
The agreement includes a shared savings incentive for Adventist Health-Portland physicians, and the two organizations will share data and measure quality as part of the initiative. The goal is to meet the triple aim of improving care quality and population health while lowering healthcare costs, according to the news release.
"We are looking forward to a healthy collaboration with Regence which will bring value, access and quality care to patients and is firmly grounded in our mission of whole person care. This accountable care relationship will allow our providers increased transparency around utilization and quality measures," Tom Russell, president and CEO of Adventist Health-Portland, said in the release.
