Johns Hopkins Medicine's Sibley Innovation Hub (Washington, D.C.).The Johns Hopkins Sibley Innovation Hub is staffed by a team of designers, engineers, technologists and project managers working in a 5,000-square-foot open innovation space. The work at Sibley connects biomedical research with operational efficiencies, and the innovation center's close proximity to the nation's capital spreads the center's influence nationally. One of the center's staff-led design projects involved partnering with a hotel technology developer to create custom mobile tablets for patients and visitors to use.
