Hospital for Special Surgery's Global Innovation Institute at HSS (New York City).The Global Innovation Institute at HSS is comprised of a life sciences innovation center, a care delivery innovation center and an innovation fund to support the development of early stage technologies with commercial viability in the musculoskeletal field. The institute boasts $41 million in royalties earned, 345 invention disclosures, 218 inventors served, 237 patents filed and 68 patents issued. HSS has actively facilitated the development of innovative technologies since 1979.
