St. Louis is the best U.S. city for people with disabilities, while Juneau, Alaska, is the worst, according to an analysis published Sept. 23 by WalletHub.
The personal finance company compared 182 cities, including the 150 most populated U.S. cities plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state, across 33 metrics grouped into economy, quality of life and healthcare. Metrics ranged from housing affordability and the employment rate for people with disabilities to wheelchair-accessible restaurants per capita, walkability, family medicine physicians per capita and the share of the population without insurance.
