MD Anderson, Texas Children’s Hospital partner to end childhood cancer

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children’s Hospital, both based in Houston, have established a joint venture with the aim of ending childhood cancer.

The partnership has been approved by the University of Texas Board of Regents and the Texas Children’s Board of Trustees, according to a Feb. 19 news release from MD Anderson. 

Patient care and operations are expected to launch in early 2026, including the creation of new facilities, with more specific information forthcoming.

Together, the organizations aim to expand and improve pediatric cancer clinical trials, cancer treatment innovation and availability, the release said.
