CMS officials gave no reason for Mr. Neale’s departure or where he will go next, but the agency’s administrator Seema Verma praised Mr. Neale in an email to CMS employees.

“Next month, Brian will be leaving CMS to pursue other opportunities, and I wanted to write today and recognize the extraordinary dedication Brian brought to the job and our team, and thank him for his tireless service to the agency,” Ms. Verma wrote, according to The Hill.
