New York's Mercy Hospital Plans $2M Imaging Upgrade

Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y., plans to invest nearly $2 million in imaging upgrades, according to a Buffalo Business First report.

The hospital plans to replace older equipment with newer equipment that uses digital technology. Last week, the hospital filed plans with the New York Department of Health to replace the interventional radiology suite's plane C-arm X-ray unit.

Mercy Hospital is also planning some construction to consolidate all of its radiology equipment in one area.

This $1.98 million project follows a $12 million upgrade to the imaging department last year.
