Rowland “Todd” Stewart, MD, was named vice president and chief medical informatics officer of Washington Regional, based in Fayetteville, Ark.
In this role, Dr. Stewart will be responsible for clinical informatics initiatives across the health system, working with physicians, nurses and team members to advance the use of technology and data in order to improve the caregiver and patient experience, according to an Aug. 10 news release.
He previously served as chief medical officer for Matthews Vu Medical Group in Colorado Springs, Colo.
