Cincinnati-based UC Health appointed Katrina M. English senior vice president and chief legal officer, effective May 1.
Five things to know:
1. Ms. English most recently served as vice president, senior deputy general counsel and interim general counsel for Dayton, Ohio-based CareSource, a Medicaid managed care plan.
2. She previously worked at Cincinnati-based Mercy Health, now known as Bon Secours Mercy Health.
3. At Mercy Health, she served as vice president and network general counsel for Mercy Health North, which included the health system's Toledo, Lima and Lorain markets.
4. She is an adjunct professor of health law, policy and ethics for Mercy College of Ohio in Toledo.
5. Ms. English earned her law degree at the Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law in Columbus.
