Joseph Teel, MD, has been appointed president of the Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group, effective Sept. 8.
Dr. Teel joined Newton Square, Pa.-based Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic from Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine, where he most recently served as chief of regional primary care for the Penn Medicine Medical Group, according to a Sept. 8 Trinity Health news release shared with Becker’s.
He will provide strategic leadership for Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic’s physician network, partnering with physicians, advanced practice providers and operational leaders to improve patient access and support the continued growth of the medical group in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.
