Felix “Drew” Bigby has been appointed CEO of Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West, Fla., effective April 28.
Mr. Bigby most recently served as chief administrative officer of Providence Swedish Health Services in Seattle, where he oversaw daily operations at four facilities, including two community hospitals, according to a March 17 health system news release.
Previously, he was CEO of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., while serving in the U.S. Navy.
He succeeds Sal Perla, DrPH, who was named interim CEO in October.
Lower Keys Medical Center is part of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.
