Atlanta-based Piedmont named Moiz Master, MD, its system chief medical officer, effective Jan. 20.
Dr. Master previously served as the system's assistant chief medical officer since 2021 and as CMO of Piedmont Mountainside Hospital since 2014, according to a Jan. 7 system news release.
He succeeds Leigh Hamby, MD, who retired at the end of 2024.
