Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.-based Northwell Health’s Phelps Hospital named Samuel Acquah, MD, vice president and chief medical officer.
Dr. Acquah will oversee clinical quality, physician engagement and program growth, and elevate patient outcomes, strengthen clinical offerings and the hospital’s connection with the community, according to a July 22 system news release.
Most recently, he served as section chief of medical critical care and director of the medical intensive care unit at Mount Sinai Health System in New York City.
