Dr. McConnell is now also the associate dean for clinical affairs for University of Michigan Health’s college of pharmacy, she said in a LinkedIn post.
Most recently, she held leadership roles at Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health, including system director of clinical pharmacy and contracting services, system vice president of pharmacy enterprise, and chief pharmacy officer.
Dr. McConnell has also served in clinical pharmacy roles at Cardinal Health, Kaiser Permanente and CoxHealth Medical Center, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Michigan Medicine’s former chief pharmacy officer and associate dean for clinical affairs of the pharmacy college, Stan Kent, RPh, recently retired.
