Dena Keilman, DNP, RN, regional chief nursing officer for Mayo Clinic’s Southeast Minnesota region, is joining Brewer, Maine-based Northern Light Health as CNO, according to an Aug. 13 news release from Northern Light.
Dr. Keilman is relocating to Maine and will become CNO of the nine-hospital system on Sept. 21, the release said.
Dr. Keilman joined Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic in 2017; the system operates 16 hospitals and 45 multispecialty clinics. At Mayo, she served as nursing director, nurse administrator for obstetrics and ambulatory surgical specialties, interim nurse administrator for surgical services, and regional CNO of the system’s Southeast Minnesota region.
Before joining Mayo Clinic, Dr. Keilman worked for about a decade at Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth as a nurse manager and director of patient services, according to her LinkedIn profile.
In Northern Light Health’s news release, Dr. Keilman said she is excited to join the system because its “values and focus on sustainability for the future align with my goals, and I look forward to partnering with teams across the organization as we continue to deliver exceptional care together.”
