CentraCare taps chief clinical officer from Mayo Clinic

St. Cloud, Minn.-based CentraCare has named Gokhan Anil, MD, its next chief clinical officer, effective in late November.

Dr. Anil joins CentraCare from Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic Health System, where he most recently served as chair of clinical practice, leading more than 500 physicians and 480 advanced practice providers across the 10-hospital system. 

As CentraCare’s senior physician leader, Dr. Anil will work alongside clinical teams to advance quality and safety, strengthen consistency of care and support rural health access across the system, according to an Aug. 20 news release.

CentraCare is a nonprofit system operating 10 hospitals and more than 30 clinics in Minnesota.
