Adena Health System in Chillicothe, Ohio, appointed Katherine Edrington, MSN, DNP, as COO, effective Nov. 30, according to a Times-Journal report.
Most recently, Ms. Edrington served as vice president of nursing for Mercy Health's East Market and site administrator (CNO/COO) at Mercy Anderson Hospital, both located in Cincinnati.
Ms. Edrington also serves an adjunct professor for a nursing course at Xavier University in Cincinnati. In addition to a doctorate degree in nursing practice-executive nurse leadership from the University of San Francisco, she holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
"Kathi has nearly 20 years of experience in nursing, with 14 of those years in nursing and operational leadership," said Adena Health System CEO Jeff Graham. "She is a strong servant leader who is focused on the overall needs of the patient, staff and providers."
