1. Rhonda Deskins has retired as CFO of Tennova Healthcare-North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, Tenn.
2. Andrew DeVoe, executive vice president and CFO of Burlington, Mass.-based Tufts Medicine, has shared plans to leave the health system, effective Sept. 30.
3. Andy Zukowski has exited his role as CFO of Greenville, N.C.-based ECU Health after four years with the system. Brian Dunn will succeed Mr. Zukowski as CFO.
4. Ric Magnuson exited his role as interim executive vice president and CFO of Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth. Matt Swafford will succeed him.
5. Dan DeBarba, CFO of New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health’s Connecticut and Hudson Valley region, was appointed president of Northwell’s Norwalk (Conn.) Hospital.
6. Maia Healy exited her role as CFO of The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., which is operated by King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services.
7. Tyler Williams was named interim CEO of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.-based North Walton Doctors Hospital.
June 15-July 1
1. Doug Gaston, senior vice president and CFO of Kansas City-based The University of Kansas Health System, shared plans to step down from his role. Monica Lubeck will succeed him as system CFO. Mr. Gaston will continue to support critical projects to ensure a smooth transition.
2. Cheryl Wathen will retire as senior vice president and CFO of Evansville, Ind.-based Deaconess Health System after more than 36 years with the system and 16 years as CFO. Alice Rigdon will succeed Ms. Wathen, effective in fall 2026.
3. Tommye Rena Wells will retire as CFO of Cookeville (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center.
4. Aaron Lewis, CFO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health, was appointed system president and COO.
5. Doug Shirley, CFO of Louisville, Ky.-based ScionHealth, was named system CEO.
April 23-June 12
1. Joe Tallon, CFO of Salina (Kan.) Regional Health Center, retired in July. He will be succeeded by Dianna White, who will begin her new role in August.
2. Kolin Huth, CFO of Maquoketa, Iowa-based Jackson County Regional Health Center, was promoted to CEO.
3. Mellissa McAvoy, CFO and COO of Millinocket (Maine) Regional Hospital, was promoted to the hospital’s CEO.
4. Linda Hoff will retire as executive vice president and CFO of Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Health Care at the end of fiscal 2026 after nine years with the system. Ms. Hoff will be succeeded by Adam Horst, effective June 8.
5. Jeff Sandene, executive vice president and CFO of Charleston, W.Va.-based Vandalia Health, started his new role June 1 as president and CEO of the system. Pat Keel succeeded him.
6. Derek Miller exited his role May 6 as senior vice president and CFO of Dothan, Ala.-based Southeast Health. Kathy Hill will succeed Mr. Miller as CFO under the succession plan.
March 12-April 14
1. Henry Capote, CFO of HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Fla., was promoted to CEO.
2. William Klutkowski retired as senior vice president and CFO of Paramus, N.J.-based Valley Health System after nearly 31 years with the system. Christopher Tascione succeeded him.
3. Aaron Bloomquist retired July 3 as CFO of Waconia, Minn.-based Ridgeview.
4. Lynn DeJaco retired as CFO of Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger. Stephanie Gary has succeeded Ms. DeJaco.
5. Lugene Inzana retired Feb. 1 as CFO of Portland-based Maine Medical Center and associate CFO of Portland-based MaineHealth.
Jan. 12-March 9
1. Greg Hoffman retired in June as executive vice president and CFO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence.
2. Aldwin Lindsay, executive vice president and CFO of Washington, D.C.-based Children’s National Hospital, retired in April.
3. Dean Ohmart retired as vice president of financial services and CFO of Warrensburg-based Western Missouri Medical Center. Lacey Bredenhoeft-Fiene succeeded Mr. Ohmart.
4. Shelby Arveson exited her role as CFO of Providence South Division in Southern California.
