Several major IT companies were named among the best places to work on Fortune's Best 100 Places to Work for 2015.
For the fourth year running, Google was named the best company to work for based on employee satisfaction — the company reimburses significant college education costs, provides 30 hours of annual training per employee and 94 percent of employees said they felt like they carried significant responsibility in 2014, according to a survey by Great Rated.
In total, 14 IT companies made the list, including the SAS Institute, Salesforce.com and Twitter. SAS, which topped the list in 2011, fell to fourth place in 2015, behind Google, the Boston Consulting Group and ACUITY.
Healthcare companies and hospitals also made significant inroads into the list. A total of 14 health systems, healthcare companies and hospitals made the list, including Scripps Health in La Jolla, Calif., St. Jude's Research Hospital in Chicago and Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
