Top IT leaders can expect to be paid healthily in 2024, with base compensation ranging from $175,000 to $500,000 and above, CIO reported.
Compensation varies by industry and company, but recent pay trends have been salaries of $200,000 a year for smaller organizations, $250,000 to $300,000 for midsize ones, and $350,000 for larger companies, according to the Jan. 18 story. CIOs also typically get discretionary bonuses based on organizational and individual performance.
Some regions pay better than others. Central New Jersey and the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, area are strong right now for healthcare, the news outlet reported.
