PatientPing, a company focused on enhancing care coordination, named Dave Rodger head of product.
Mr. Rodger most recently served as vice president of product at Spotify. Prior to that, he worked at The Echo Nest, a software-as-a-service provider of application programming interfaces that delivered music features and intelligence. Spotify acquired The Echo Nest in 2014.
In his new role, Mr. Rodger will be responsible for product development, and he will lead the product team out of PatientPing's Boston headquarters. PatientPing's network includes providers from all over the country. PatientPing's platform informs providers in real-time when their patients receive care elsewhere and allows them to share care instructions with other providers.
"Dave's experience at cutting-edge consumer-tech product companies is an essential addition to our executive leadership team," said PatientPing CEO Jay Desai.
