EHR Market to Rise to $17B by 2017

The market for electronic health records is expected to climb from approximately $10.6 billion in 2012 to $17 billion by 2017, according to a report released by GlobalData.

The market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 9.8 percent. The company's report also estimates that McKesson had the largest healthcare IT software and services revenue in 2012, with $3.3 billion.
