Malborough, Md.-based OneShield Software announced the completion of its revenue management platform with the release of OneShield Claims on Thursday.
The company's claim management system aims to automate and streamline the claims administration process for healthcare systems, an event in the revenue cycle which traditionally requires a great number of manual interactions. Through automation and configurability, OneShield believes their product may help reduce administrative expenses for hospitals.
The system offers financial transaction management for reserves, payments and recoveries, automated low-touch processing through configurable business rules, and business intelligence reporting and analytics.
"OneShield Claims is an important addition to our enterprise offering that ensures complete end-to-end integration of a business' data, workflows, processes and rules at every stage of the insurance policy lifecycle," said OneShield President and CEO Glenn Anschutz.
OneShield's revenue management platform includes policy, billing, rating and customer and partner management systems.
