New York hospital undergoes $500M makeover

A $500 million expansion project is underway at Poughkeepsie, N.Y.-based Vassar Brothers Medical Center, according to the Construction Equipment Guide.

The expansion, which includes a new inpatient pavilion, will effectively double the current size of the hospital.

Construction on the project is expected to be complete in early 2019.
