Peoria, Ill.-based OSF Healthcare chose CareSignal's deviceless remote patient monitoring company to power OSF OnCall.
The addition of CareSignal's technology will allow OSF to reach an additional 117,000 rising-risk patients with chronic conditions, according to an Oct. 19 company news release. These patients are part of the Medicaid Transformation Project; OSF is one of 17 participating health systems.
CareSignal's patient monitoring technology uses text messaging and calls to keep track of patients symptoms..
"CareSignal helped us implement the latest technologies to expand access to care for underserved communities and vulnerable populations," Director of Digital Care Development at OSF OnCall Courtney Pilat said in the release. "We're already seeing improved outcomes from our pregnancy and postpartum monitoring and 24/7 support program under our Medicaid Innovation Collaborative."
