The University of Michigan's Comprehensive Cancer Center is a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, a nonprofit alliance of 27 leading cancer centers. In 2016, University of Michigan secured 134 awards from the NCI, totaling $60 million. U.S. News & World Report ranked University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers among the top 50 hospitals for cancer care in the nation for 2017-18.
