Tapestry Solutions, a subsidiary of Boeing Co., recently launched the Enterprise Sensor Integration software, which harnesses the power of the Internet of Things to improve supply chain operations, reports DCVelocity.
The software contains a cloud-based platform that integrates various sensor technologies to track, monitor and control assets and workflow processes on a common platform, according to the report. Along with asset tracking, the platform can also be used to monitor a building's infrastructure and equipment.
The platform compiles data from sensors, software and electronics to connect people, processes and data across the entire supply chain, which gives customers a complete image of their inventory and asset movements during the production process.
