Ontario, Calif.-based Prime Healthcare Services signed a contract agreement with L.A. Care Health Plan, the largest public health plan in the country.
The deal, signed in May, allows L.A. Care members to receive in-network rates from five California-based Prime hospitals: Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, Encino Hospital Medical Center in Encino, La Palma Intercommunity Hospital in La Palma, San Dimas Community Hospital in San Dimas and Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks.
L.A. Care has more than 1 million members throughout Los Angeles County, many of whom are low-income or elderly.
