Scott Posecai's professional career has had two main paths — and two diverse ones at that.
Mr. Posecai, a certified public accountant, serves as CFO of Ochsner Health System in New Orleans. He started his work with the Ochsner Clinic in 1987 and was named CFO of the clinic in 1995. While in that role, he oversaw the merger of the clinic with the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in 200, and eventually became CFO of the entire health system in 2006.
Before he joined Ochsner, Mr. Posecai was in a very different industry: oil and gas. He held various financial positions with oil and gas firms, mainly in accounting, treasury and international tax roles.
The University of New Orleans College of Business also named Mr. Posecai its "Alumnus of the Year" in 2004.
