EHR vendor MCIS, based in Marshfield, Wis., has deployed a cloud-based EHR on Microsoft Azure.
MCIS, a subsidiary of Marshfield Clinic Health System, will use Microsoft Azure to further develop its EHR without purchasing on-site equipment.
"Microsoft Azure is designed from the ground up to enable healthcare organizations like MCIS meet rigorous security and regulatory compliance requirements. This also supports MCIS's ability to drive the triple aim objectives of delivering innovative solutions that lower costs, enhance the patient experience, and help address population health," said Hector Rodriguez, national director of U.S. health technology with Microsoft.
