Inspira Medical Center Woodbury (N.J.) reported an operating gain of more than $2.6 million in 2015, compared to a loss of nearly $4.6 million the year prior, according to The Inquirer.
The financial gain represents a huge win for the hospital, which has not posted an operating profit since 2010.
Inspira Medical Center Woodbury saw its revenue jump to $181.3 million last year, up from $170.6 million in 2014.
The hospital attributed its financial turnaround to a number of factors, including doing better than budgeted in outpatient surgeries and emergency room visits, according to the report.
